Kristina Elisabeth Steinbock

Born 1974. Lives and works in Copenhagen. Educated at Glasgow school of art and now studying at The Royal Academy of Fine art in Copenhagen.

She works with everyday scenarios twisted with equivocally and humour.
Her work has a clear sociological perspective.
The Themes is often related to identity changes and social development in humans: Childhood, Youth, marriage, old age and love.
She photograph staged scenarios, either purely fiction or staged documentary. The models in her pictures are more to be described as extras or figures rather than portrayed persons
